While not always the main subject, dogs have been appearing in visual art since humans first started expressing their feels, a (somewhat loose and arguable) fact that is being documented in the new Instagram account Fine Art Fluffers. Focusing on “all the furry dudes hangin’ out in the corners of fancy paintings”, Fine Art Fluffers presents close-ups of the dogs (and sometimes cats) they spot accompanied by full shots of the paintings they’re featured in, and some info on the artist or artwork itself. It’s fun, informative, nerdy, and absolutely one of our favorite Instagram accounts. Give ’em a follow, you won’t regret it: @fineartfluffers.
