Harrah’s Resort Petstay Program

As a pet parent, I always face an internal struggle when traveling. Who will watch my furkids, and will they be upset if I leave them with a sitter? But if I take them with me will it be even more of an upsetting experience? Lucky for dog parents, pooches can now stay in comfort and style at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City as part of its Petstay Program. Place your bets in the world-class on-site casino, tuck into Italian cuisine at Martorano’s or take in musical acts — completely stress free since you know your pup is just steps away, safe and sound in one of the recently renovated hotel’s designated Petstay rooms.

Celebrity Dogs Love Harrah’s Petstay Program

Take it from celebrity canines like Paris Hilton’s mini Chihuahua, Diamond Baby. “Paris and Diamond Baby were among the first guests to stay in our newly renovated rooms and suites at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City,” reports Noel Stevenson, director of public relations for Caesars Entertainment AC/Harrah’s Resort. “Paris has also packed her pooches for additional trips to Harrah’s when she has hosted events and deejay gigs at The Pool After Dark nightclub. Diamond Baby was able to take advantage of our Petstay Program, which includes in-room delivery of amenities for pets like a welcome mat, yummy specialty treats and doggie bowls.”

Ice-T and Coco Austin also brought their late Bulldog, Spartacus, to Harrah’s. “Spartacus even walked the carpet with the duo and partied and relaxed poolside at The Pool After Dark nightclub alongside Mom and Dad,” Stevenson says.

Other Amenities to Expect With Harrah’s Petstay Program

Pups and their people will also enjoy outdoor relief areas and dog-walking routes outside of the resort. Or, take your pup to see Atlantic City’s dog-friendly sites, like the Historic Absecon Lighthouse or the Civil Rights Garden. Dog-friendly items and suggestions for area pet services — grooming, dog walking and vets — are also available upon request.

Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City also offers crate rentals (subject to availability). Certain restrictions, like one dog per room, weight limits and leash rules apply. Call 609-441-5000 to book or go to harrahsresort.com for more information (search for Harrah’s Atlantic City Pet Stay).
