Put Your Dog’s Face on a Wine Bottle — and Also Help Guiding Eyes for the Blind

Here’s a way to customize your holiday yappy hour and help a deserving nonprofit at the same time. California-based Windsor Vineyards is making custom wine labels with your pet’s likeness on them as part of a new campaign with Guiding Eyes for the Blind. It’s called #petyourwine, and a portion of the proceeds goes to the animal nonprofit that provides seeing eye dogs to people with vision loss. In fact, Windsor Vineyards has pledged to contribute at least $5,000 to the organization through this fun initiative.

Just upload a pic of your pet and choose which holiday theme – think Santa hats, candy cane stripes and paw prints – you’d like to pair with your precious pooch’s image. Then add a custom message to further personalize the label. Pick from 13 different national and international wines ($12-$32), and then send a bottle (or more) to your most deserving friends and family. It’s practically guaranteed to put a smile on any pet lover’s face, especially those who know and love your own furry friend. Or stock your own wine cabinet and serve it at holiday gatherings.

The promotion runs until December 15, so that everyone gets their orders before Christmas. But the mission to help charitable causes like Guiding Eyes goes well beyond by spreading awareness of the incredible work that guide dogs do.
