We Love Pit Bulls — Here Are 6 of Our Favorites!

Here at Dogster, we are HUGE fans of Pit Bulls. They are loyal and loving dogs as well as beloved family members. Let’s meet some of the dogs at HQ, plus a few Pit Bulls we’ve written about recently.

Not only is this Pit Bull a best friend to writer Meghan Lodge, but Axle also keeps an eye on her daughter. Don’t they make an adorable pair?

2. Hercules

After BarkWorld last year, I got to hang out with Shorty Rossi and his service dog Hercules. (Photo by Pamela Mitchell)

After the BarkWorld pet social media conference last year, I got to hang out with Shorty Rossi and his service dog Hercules. Shorty regularly speaks out against breed-specific legislation, and his many pups serve as ambassadors for Pit Bulls. We can’t wait to hear their talk at next month’s 2016 BarkWorld.

3. Blueberry

We named Blueberry a Dogster Hero earlier this year. She’s a certified therapy dog in Massachusetts who loves to give kisses. Blueberry regularly faces breed discrimination, but she doesn’t let it stop her important work.

Fellow Dogster Hero Kiah and Officer Justin Bruzgul are a K9 detection unit in Poughkeepsie, New York. She’s a silly pup when not on duty.

We did a Pix We Love post on The Blue Boys, Darren and Phillip. They are two adorable Staffies from Brisbane, Australia, who serve as breed ambassadors and provide support to Pit Bull rescues around the world. And, yes, they also dress in PJs.

These are just a few of the MANY Pit Bull-type dogs we love, all of whom deserve to live wherever they want.

Here at Dogster, we do NOT support discrimination of dogs based on breed.

We love them all!
