Krizia Flores is the designer of Concrete Geometric. She began to experiment with concrete pieces as a way to expand the art direction in her product photography. What began as sample product prototypes, developed into an interest in concrete design. Inspired by geometric art and architecture, she began to design concrete pieces that reflected her interest in minimalism and clean lines.
Her design goal has always been to present concrete as a delicate form, rather than what it’s normally perceived as. Krizia’s love for animals is huge, and a percentage of the proceeds from Concrete Geometric is donated to Best Friends Animal Society, along with a few other animal rescues. Let’s meet her three gorgeous dogs, shall we?
Names? Luna, Wolfgang, Brownie
Nicknames? Only Wolfgang has one which is Wolfy.
Ages? Wolfy 9, Brownie 9, Luna 3 months
Breeds? Wolfy: Siberian Husky/Malamute, Brownie: Cocker Spaniel, Luna: Siberian Husky
What’s “The Scoop”? Brownie was a gift from a family friend 8 years ago. Wolfy was adopted from a local shelter when he was 7 years old and Luna was a gift from a friend a few months ago. Wolfy was a little bit of an accident. I went to visit my local shelter to ask if they needed help photographing the dogs that came in. I walked around the kennels and Wolfy stood up and looked at me, he was the only dog that didn’t bark the entire time and kept calm. I fell in love and a week later he was home with me. He had been at the shelter for a week because his previous owner had just passed away a week before.
Favorite Toys? Brownie only loves squeaky toys. Wolfy loves rope, tennis, and soccer balls. Luna plays with anything right now, but she does seem to love a plush frog toy she got a month ago.
Favorite Food? Bacon! But we try very hard to keep them healthy so they mostly munch on carrots and cucumbers. During summer time Wolfy and Brownie love watermelon.
Favorite place to sleep? They all have beds but for some odd reason they love to sleep in random places. Brownie loves those large Ikea bags, Wolfy loves shaded holes he’s dug in the dirt, and Luna has been laying on succulents.
Pet Peeves? Hmmm, not giving them attention. They’re all so jealous of each other!
Best Trick? Brownie didn’t really have any tricks until Wolfy came along. Wolfy shakes everyone’s hands all the time. Brownie learned to sit after watching Wolfy. Luna just learned down, sit, and shake. My favorite is always the shaking of paws.
Gear? Probably their Wildebeest bandanas & the toss tennis ball toy.
If your dogs were another animal what animal would that be? Brownie would be a piggy. 
Wolfy a wolf, and Luna thinks she’s a human.
Your dogs are the subjects of a big budget biopic and you get to choose who’s involved with the film! Who do you pick to direct and which leading actors will play your pups? Leo DiCaprio would play Wolfy, Brownie would be played by Jeff Bridges, and Luna would be played by Chloë Grace Moretz. Directed by the Farrelly Brothers!
