Got this email in from Tonya C. and wanted to put it up STAT!
“I know you guys have featured Wally the Squirrel before (hiding nuts in the dog’s fur.) I recently discovered that Wally’s family is having a run of sad news. Jax – the Bernese Mountain dog who was the subject of Wally’s hiding attempts – apparently has cancer. :( His family has set up a GoFundMe page for help with palliative medical expenses. I thought I would bring it to your attention since Wally’s extended family includes a number of anipals who have medical difficulties. These hoomins have done a lot by taking in struggling and/or unwanted anipals and I feel they deserve some recognition for their work – as well as help in providing for these dogs, cats, and squirrel.”
