If the magnitude and frequency of our April showers is any indication, we’re likely to have a LOT of May flowers here in Appalachia. We hardly dry out these days before the next gullywasher comes rolling in, much to the chagrin of my dear Dottie, who likens a rainy day to one of the lower circles of hell. One of these days I guess I’m going to have to cave and get her a raincoat. I’m loving these handmade dog raincoats from new Etsy shop CanineKids Outfitters. The modern, unisex prints are ultra cool, and the lightweight, lined coats (rayon & polyester) are machine-washable. They even feature a zip-off removable hood, as well a convenient D-ring and leash hole for refreshing walks on damp days. CanineKids Outfitters donates 10% of profits to the Flint Animal Cancer Center at Colorado State University. Check out the full collection at CanineKids Outfitters.
