Kasey Boggs is the person behind one of the most animal-packed Instagram accounts around. Based in Wentzville, Missouri, she’s built up a huge following of fans around the globe by virtue of a stream of colorful pictures that showcase the seven — yep, count ’em! — creatures that make up her family. The pack is headed up by four dogs (Roxy, Rose, Jake, and Edith) who’ve quickly become social media stars.
Here’s your introduction to their world.
Let’s meet the family
The full lineup of Kasey’s troop takes in four dogs, two ducks, and a cat (who’s formally called Mia but is affectionately known as the catdog). Without further ado, let’s get a little more familiar with the canine members of her pack.
Roxy
Roxy is up first. She entered Kasey’s world when she saw the dog in a local pet store in pretty bad shape. Something about Roxy resonated with Kasey, and shortly after she scooped her up and offered her a better home in a kinder environment. She’s the little pooch in the big pink hat here.
Edith
Edith had a horrid start to life. She was found lying down on her dead mother and was afflicted with parvo, mange, and parasites. Thankfully, the local humane society stepped in, and now she can be found delighting her Instagram fans with her rump-shaking shenanigans.
Rose
Rose was rescued from an area known for hosting dog fighting events in St. Louis. Now that’s she’s enjoying life in her forever home, she’s become the athlete of the group and is renowned for her 6-foot leaps. Also, she looks fantastic in shades and a red neckerchief.
Jake
Finally, we have Jake, the only boy of the bunch. Another rescue, Kasey came across Jake when she saw an advert on Craigslist saying that he needed to find a new home right away. Since that fateful day, he’s proved a fine addition to Kasey’s crew.
Living that outdoors life
Based on their Instagram feed, Kasey and her dogs love heading out on long hikes and outdoors adventures. If you spot them rambling through the wilds, you’ll likely find the pack all dressed up in matching bandanas — a move that keeps them fashion focussed and safe.
Kasey’s philosophy
As you browse through Kasey’s photos, you’ll come across many group shots of her pets on location accompanied by motivational mantras. The caption to this picture reads: “In a world of unfortunate ignorance and hate, I try to focus on the love and happiness this pack brings me and remind myself that I know the truth.”
The signature shot
Finally, if you spend any time checking out pictures of Kasey and her canines, you’ll see that they often celebrate hump day by lining up in what you could politely call a very distinctive formation…
